• How do I make an order?

  We can be contacted by phone, fax, email or through our website for order enquiries. We can arrange delivery worldwide and accept orders from 100 plants upwards. All enquiries are welcome and we will endeavour to reply as soon as possible.

• How do I pay for my plants?

  D.P.D. Ltd deal on 'at sight' letter of credit, or pre-payment terms. Payment against a Proforma Invoice by bank-to-bank transfer in advance of the date of shipment is our preferred method of payment for smaller consignments, with shipment being arranged within 14 days once details have been finalised. Other methods of payment are negotiable.

• How will they be delivered?

  Our usually delivery method is by airfreight CPT (Incoterms 2010) to the customers choice of airport as it is the most economical method of shipment. We can arrange alternative delivery methods if required.

• Do I need an import permit?

  Import permit regulations vary from country to country so we advise checking with local government authorities in regard to any requirements.

• Which documents will be supplied with my order?

  All our shipments are accompanied by the necessary import documents including a Phyto-sanitary certificate, UK Certificate of Origin, invoice and packing list. Additional documentation can be added at the customer’s request.

• Do I have to insure my plants during delivery?

  Under CPT shipping terms goods travel at the customers risk and we advise suitable insurance to be arranged by the customer. If there are any difficulties with raising insurance cover please discuss this with us.

• What do I do with the plants when I receive them?

  All plants supplied to customers are primary hardened and will require replanting into larger nursery bags soon after arrival. Depending on local conditions, the plants will need to be grown for a further 6 – 12 months until each plant has at least 2 pinnate leaves. We recommend that this acclimatisation period be done in a protected nursery with the support of good, local advice on plant management. This will ensure optimum performance on planting in the field.
